About Us
In 1991 when we first opened our doors, we did so under the name the Buyer's Advisor as founding members of the National Buyer's Advisory Board.  In the early days we did appraisal services and offered home buyer education courses.  Several years ahead of changes in the law we were promoting the use of exclusive buyer representation in real estate along with only a handful of companies nationwide promoting needed changes to protect home buyers. In 1994 we were the first company in our market to offer exclusive buyer representation as a licensed Georgia Real Estate Company with Kenneth Koon serving as Broker.  Our success at representing buyers opened the doors to our teaching other companies how to do buyer agency. 

Armed with a passion for education our broker, Kenneth Koon, became chairman of the National Buyer's Advisory Board and began training other agents throughout the region.  In 1994 NBAB purchased our company name and began offering the Certified Buyer's Advisor Professional Designation to its members using the material we had developed; and we began operating as Realmerica Realty Company in March 1995. 

We recently celebrated 11 years as Realmerica Realty, a full service real estate company serving buyers and sellers in the Southern Crescent.  Our home office is in Fayetteville, Georgia and our agents live and/or serve in the counties of Clayton, Coweta, Douglas, Fayette, Henry, Pike, South Fulton, and Spalding.

The Realmerica Team includes associates with experience in banking and finance, corporate relocation, appraisal services, real estate education, and our own Certified Interior Designers. All Associates have earned or are candidates for the Certified Buyer’s Advisor professional Designation and several are enrolled in the Luxury Qualified Professional Designation with the Alliance of Luxury Qualified Professionals.
